Mrs. Baxter

My name is Jackie Baxter and I am the new sixth grade teacher at St. Mary's School. I am so excited to be a part of this great school! I grew up in Oakley, KS and after graduating from high school, I attended Fort Hays State University. I graduated from FHSU in May 2011 with a degree in Elementary Education. this will acutally be my first time as a grade-level classroom teacher, and also my first time with sixth graders. Previously, I taught K-5 computer clases at O'Laughlin Elementary School in Hays. My husband, Michael, and I have een married for three years. We live in Hays where he is an attorney at Jeter Law Firm. I am very excited for this opportunity at St. Mary's and I am looking forward to seeing what the future brings!
